Tech Cody arrived to homeowner's house, I met Mr Gary and he directed me inside to the thermostat and showed me the attic access to the evaporator coil. I started the tune-up inside at the evaporator coil, the filter was not in need of replacement, the blower wheel was clean, and the evaporator was clean as well there was however a little bit of corrosion starting to form on some of the tubes. I then headed outside to the condensing coil, I started with washing out the unit and then turning it on to let it dry. There was a hard start kit installed and when I took the inrush amp test for the compressor the amperage came back nice and low compared to the data tag number. The running amp test on the compressor and fan motor both came back well below specifications according to the data tag. Once the coil had dried I hooked up my gauges and took my refrigerant readings, the gauges indicated that the system was properly charged and would have no problem cooling the home. I didn't see a surg

Arrived for service eval Compressor over amping significantly and will fail very soon System replacement recommended due to age r22 phase of and cost of repairs Comfort Advisor scheduled for 4/1 6pm
Tech arrived at a tune-up. The residents were unaware that we were coming. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was scorched. The refrigerant and Delta was low. The system was dirty. There was no drain safety. There was an unsealed duct. The flame sensor was scorched. The customer's son was contacted via phonecall. He was informed of recommendations today. Due to age, condition and price of repairs; it was recommended that the customer speak with a Comfort Advisor about upgrading to something more reliable with warranties behind it. The son agreed and we will give him a call.

Arrived for STU #IAQ200 Replaced filter Drains clear Furnace components fine Hot spot present on zone control board - Ordering new board Condenser coil clean Capacitors, motors, and refrigerant fine
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Changed filter. Recommend duct cleaning lvl1 and uv light installation for improved quality of air. Follow up set for next Saturday.
Customer states there is a loud vibration coming from the outdoor condenser. The technician checked all amp draws on the compressor and the condenser fan motor. All amp draws are normal. Checked refrigerant levels to find that the system may possibly be low on refrigerant but can not conclude this as it is cold outside and the system has no heat load. Heard a loud vibration coming from inside the wall. Tech believes that the vapor line may be rubbing on a stud or the wall top plate. If line set continues to rub it may lead to a leak in the future. Recommend replacing line set.
