Recent Work
Upon arrival installed attic tent and got it sealed up and took a temp reading from both sides of the attic tent to show customers the temp difference that the attic tent is now sealing off Left customers house with system operating properly
When I opened the panel it had one breaker tripped but there was power coming out of one of the lines leading be to believe it was the breaker I told them to keep an eye out to make sure it doesn't happen consistently
Completed annual heat and air conditioning tune up.
On arrival system was unable to cool. Indoor units coil was frozen. After thawing the coil I found the leak in the evaporator coil. I recommended replacement due to the age of the machine and the cost of repairs. They will speak with the city of Dallas about repair and potentially call us back for a comfort advisor.
04/15/24 Tyler s- I stalled a new customer supplied kitchen faucet.
During inspection verified that system was working properly Spoke to customer about cap being below tolerance and also getting a surge protector put onto the system to protect it from any outside power attack that could damaged components Customer stated he would get in touch with company that installed the system for the cap and then would have us back out in about a week or so to do the surge protector
This system is in tolermace we did find a large amount of biogrowth in the system. It could use a UV system to tackle it. Out side the condensor is clean and ready for cooling.
Arrived for AHC replaced filter Drains fine Installed UV systems on each system Everything else working just fine
Home inspection Master bath lavatory is dripping Water heater is a 2004 eletric in garage 1/4 turns through out home with all new plumbing No clean outs present
During inspection verified that system was working properly Including compressor saver, both surge protectors and uv system Spoke to customer about an attic tent so come summer time we are not letting all that hot attic air into the home and make the system work harder and also spoke about upgrading to the new membership to give the customers more benefits Customer's wanted to move forward on the attic tent and the membership upgrade Will need to order a 25"1/2 W by 55" L attic tent
This is a r22 system with txv. It sub cooling should be 10° and it's currently at 5°. System is low on r22 and is over 10 years old. It will achieve some cooling in this pleasent weather given that the equipment only works for 10 mins at a time. But when summer arrives and it works all day long it will build up in ice on the Evap coil causing problems. I recommend system replacement.
Super tuneup on two systems. All components were within manufacturing specs except the upstairs condenser was over amping on inrush. No primary drain switch, wet switch on overflow drain pan. I recommend installing safety switches, compressor savers for both units, UV systems, and Aprilaire media upgrade to help with air quality.
Performed plumbing inspection for home found a couple items that need to be addressed. Wrote estimates for items customer said her husband can take care of those items but send estimate anyways.
Toilet not flushing all the way in hall bathroom. Need to run a cable through toilet and try that first before pulling and resetting anything to run cable.
03/09/24 Tyler s- currently a gas waterheater. Wanted quote on tankless gas. Only problem, is they already have a tankless next door in the guest house so the gas meter will have to be sized up to accommodate a second tankless.
Arrived for STU #IAQ filter ok Drains clear UV system highly recommended due to biological growth in the air handler Heat strips fine Blower and coil very dusty and has biological growth in it Wake condenser coil Capacitors, motors and refrigerant are fine Hard start kit recommended due to compressor exceeding LRA at start
Tech arrived at a membership tune-up. It was cold and raining. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The filter was relatively clean. The blower area was a little dirty. The drain was clear and bleach was poured. The Delta was within range. The customer was informed of recommendations today. She decided to move forward with replacing the bulb and installing a drain treatment strip. These items were installed and functional. She will revisit the UVC System and Air Cleaner on the next visit. The system was functioning upon departure.
Completed electrical tune-up she was saying that her Peter in the living room was causing the breaker to trip this is because she had another heater on the same circuit going at the same time on a 15 amp breaker I explained that situation to her and suggested that maybe she could plug in the smaller heater into the reason why she needs these years is because her AC down and not working we have evidently already talked to her about this but she is not in a position to get another AC
After arrival I checked all of the gas fittings and supply lines in the water heater closet and came across no leaks. I checked the gas control valve and all of its connections as well and came across no issues. And after that I checked the t&p line where the inspector told me that she believed there was backfall And after using my level I saw there was no backfall. Instead, there was a small decline showing fall. Thank you.
After arrival I began to drain the existing water heater. But since it was over twenty years old , It took a lot longer than expected due to the amount of sediment. After about an hour and a half of it draining , I was finally able to maneuver it out of the water heater closet in the garage and then I began to install the new one. Once everything was installed , I tested it to make sure there were no leaks and once I was sure there were none I began to insulate the water lines. Thank you
I'll need to return on Monday to install a 50 gallon gas water heater. After arrival I opened up the door to the water heater closet in the garage and noticed that the water heater was twenty years old. I then started my diagnosis, which ended up showing that the heater was filled with sediment and needed to be replaced. Thank you.
Ran STU on customers heat pump. All heating and cooling components tested within recommended tolerances. Found unit/house did not have any form of surge protection. Also found biological growth inside of supply plenum. Recommended surge protection and a uv system. Found no other issues at this time.
01/29/24 Tyler S- whole house was backed up. Ended up being the grinderpump had no power and breaker was tripped. Charged 45 min for assessment and getting system back up
