Left estimates for hose bibb repair or replacement Customer wants to buy vacuum breakers for us to install
Gave estimate for 1 damper and 1 bypass damper.
Found system throwing code for low pressure lockout reset code and ran system on both upstairs and downstairs zones pressures were good and not low Turned off downstairs zone and pressures went below the point of freezing Contacted joe about the issue he asked me to get with the Customer to set a day for him and Robert to come out and look over the system Customer would like to have them out tomorrow morning
On arrival system was running and cooling producing 20 degree delta. Indoor units were clean, outdoor units passed all electrical testing. I replaced both capicators on the outdoor units and one blower capicator. When I left both systems were running and cooling.
On arrival system cooled and produced a 19 degree delta. Indoor unit was clean and had clear drain lines. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but was overamping on start up. I installed an iaq 200, a compressor saver kit and a whole home surge protector. When I left system was on and cooling.

repaired both outdoor faucets so they didn't drip. Cleared calcium in toilet bowl that was blocking the jet, not allowing it to flush properly.
Arrived for duct cleaning estimates Took pictures of finding and showed customer Customer requested estimate sent via email
On phone call he did not agree to have work done for the estimate price
Colman has furnace with straight cool condenser installed in 2016. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Gas pressure and ignition are in range and working as they should. Heat exchanger is acceptable. Dual run capacitor is within tolerance. Compressor saver installed. No surge protection is present. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Customer would like a plumber to come out regarding two hose bibs and a shower head. Customer is available Thursday evening March 7th.
2 year old Carrier heat pump with air handler. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Dual run capacitor is within tolerance. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Whole home surge protection has been installed.
2011 indoor with a 2017 evaporator coil. 2006 outdoor unit 4 ton hp. R22 Homeowner said on 2/26/24 the system shut off and didn't come back on until the cooler temperatures. Upon evaluating the indoor unit I could hear the liquid line loudly fluttering, performed a leak detection and confirmed. Outdoor unit capacitor is failing. Due to the evidence of a refrigerant leak, I MEGOHM the compressor on all three terminals and found the caution light indicator. I explained to homeowner in detail on how his system is performing and he accepted a CA appointment 2/27/24 @1pm. 2 of the ducting on the supply plenum need to be repaired. I spoke briefly about the benefits of variable speed motors and a compressor saver. I did not mention insulation but it looks like a good candidate for more. When I was with the homeowner, I saw the Payments tab on service titan in the completed state and proceeded to close up with the homeowner, then when I had left the home dispatch informed me of the mist
Tyler L completed in electrical tuna after looking at the main panel and the sub panel the worksmanship was good but I did find that the GFCI's all being put so close together is generating quite a bit of heat I showed this to the customer I also explained an offered a search protector but he was not interested at the moment checked all of the plugs in the kitchen and a couple around the living room all of which were wired correctly GFCIs were in the proper locations in functioning properly
On arrival the indoor unit was cooling and producing a 20 degree delta. The indoor unit had clear drain lines and a clean blower and coil. The outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. I recomended a whole home surge protector to protect the ac system and the whole home from surges and an iaq 200 air scrubber to prevent further growth in the supply plenum and provide clean air. Customer declined my recommendations at this time.
Customer said pressure was not holding performed leak inspection leak detection on outdoor located on cap tubes and other tubing in the outdoor unit. Video included of leak detection. Recommend replacement of outdoor unit altogether. TDLR Registration number 133220. Customer wants to claim warranty through manufacturer.
After arrival I began, my plumbing tune up and the homeowner gave me smallest of things he would like for me to take a look at while I was here. After helping him out with a few things, I began my walk through of the home and came across a few issues. And after presenting them to the homeownerhe only wanted me to move forward with a water heater flush of both heaters today. So after that I collected photos and payment. thank you.
His 3 ton split zoned system has 1 nest thermostat not operational. He's also heat escaping the ssytem near the inducer motor. Another tech taped it up pretty good to keep it from tripping safeties. System has small amounts of biogrowth on the drain line and large amounts of dust in the return and furnace housing. I recommend system replacement.
Checked all low voltage wiring to ensure 24 volts was not getting sent to w when thermostats had already been satisfied found that the damper controlling the upstairs had been wired in backwards at the zone board compared to the damper itself corrected this issue and tested each zone independently to make sure dampers would close when only one zone is calling for heat or ac
Arrived for service eval Disable and opened both zones Rewired around zone board and wired thermostats to correctly use heat strips Customer confirmed airflow at every vent and correct heat strip function Let system in heating at exit
Zak L. completed a heating and air conditioning system diagnosis.
Arrived for service eval System occasionally blows cold air while heating Heat strip kit failed and not coming on during defrost or manual activation Condenser contactor burned and pitted Condenser defrost board has hot spots Upstairs zone motor inconsistent and needs replacing as well Customer will use home warranty for repairs Biological growth present and should have a UV system installed to provide clean air
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Customer changed filter recently. Recommend coil clean and insulating outdoor vapor line. Signed up for home and budget protection plan.
Found upstairs damper to be opening and closing properly upon call for heat advised customer to keep doors to rooms with upstairs returns open to circulate the conditioned air more evenly throughout the home
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Filter was changed recently. Emailed TU form and estimates.
