Job Locations and Reviews
Free second opinion. System is low on refrigerant verified by pressures and temperatures. Performed leak search on indoor coil and outdoor heat pump. Leak detector was triggered on outdoor unit but was unable to confirm exact location of the leak. System was installed in 2011 and customer is interested in replacing system with something more reliable and efficient. Comfort advisor scheduled to meet with customer tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock.
Completed annual hvac tune up.
This is a done system. I replaced cap and added hard start kit to the system. I washed the condensor and checked filter. The system is ready for cooling.
04/05/24 Tyler S- shower was not leaking, I just adjusted the hot and cold inside the handle so it would get hotter
On arrival systems were running and cooling producing a 29 degree delta. Both units had clear drain lines and clean blowers and coils. There were signs of biological growth in both supply plenums. I recomended adding an iaq200 uv system for both units. I recomended April aire filter upgrades to keep the system clean and prevent us from needed to clean the blowers again. With the iaq 200 I will provide drain treatment strips, use a sanitizing spray on the duct work, and pull and clean the blower and clean the coil for both systems. Both outdoor units passed all electrical testing. I recommended a compressor saver kit for one of the outdoor units to reduce the wear and tear on the compressor and extend its lifespan. When I left both systems were running and cooling. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day!
03/19/24 Tyler s- new build house no major issues. Master bathroom left sink might have junk in line or head of faucet, water pressure slightly lower then other sink. Also the back frostproof bibb didn't clear water when turned off so may become an issue in next freeze
Arrived for STU #IAQ filter ok Drains clear Blower and coil slightly dusty Biological growth in drain pan - IAQ200 UV system recommended Heat strips are fine Washed condenser coil Replaced dual run cap with membership warranties Defrost control board has hot spots and should be replaced before failure Condenser fan motor is operating at FLA and 93 degrees F - recommend replacing before the summer as it is unlikely to last through the summer Customer will discuss options with his wife and then get back to us
Mike R. completed annual heat and air conditioning tune up.
On this job I inspected both sides of the system. I've found nothing out of tolerance just a drity system that could benefit from uv light protection
IAQ 300 installed. Performed function check. System set to heat upon departure.
On arrival the upstairs system was working but the downstairs system was not. I found the wet switch tripped and the filter extremely matted. Both systems ran and worked as intended on my way out. With the customers permission I installed two compressor saver kits and two pan strips.
On arrival the system was running and heating. The furnace ran with no issues. The outdoor unit was overamping on start and has an out of tolerance capacitor. Customer declined all recommendations at this time.
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Changed filter.
Tyler L completed electrical tune-up his panel was a little bit on the older side but it was completely full so a surge protector wasn't really an option at this time we did talk about possible expansion so we could get a new panel form
Upon arrival system was in working condition. Looking at the indoor unit all electrical connections and components are good. Blower and coil are clean. Drain lines are clear. Filter was changed. Looking at the outdoor unit all electrical connections and components are good. Capacitor within tolerance. Refrigerant levels are good. Amp draws are good. Cleaned unit inside out. Left system in working condition. Thank you for choosing comfort experts.
Completed electrical estimate they have signed for the current estimate but I will be calling tomorrow to get assurance that they want to proceed with the transaction
Capacitor failure. Swapped warranty capacitor Amp draws acceptable Coils clean Refrigerant levels acceptable Deltas acceptable
Arrived for service eval Error code for high pressure lockout Condenser coil very dirty and dusty Cleaned coil
On arrival the outdoor unit was not running. I quickly determined that the drain line was clogged causing the unit to short cycle. After taking the p trap apart I blew and sucked from the top and bottom. I poured a gallon of water down the drain line to test and had no issues. I also installed Zac's uv200 while there. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day;
Upstairs outdoor unit is operating refrigerant levels are slightly low, fan motor is amping slightly high ,downstairs outdoor unit is operating, refrigerant levels are low,cap is out of tolerance ,upstairs indoor unit is operating ,drain line is clear at thistime, filter is serverly dirty, customer needed size before replacing, downstairs indoor unit is operating, system is serverly dirty, drain line is clear at this time, cap for upstairs was replaced last year, need to follow up with customer in August about duct cleaning ,installed both caps, waiting for fan motor to come in ,left both system cooling
Install 48k gas hz system keep current filtration
On arrival the outside unit was off and not turning on. The unit was getting a call for cooling from the thermostat, but had no high voltage. I found the main breaker and saw that the unit had tripped the breaker. I ohmed out the compressor wires and had measurable resistance, and I turned the unit on with the compressor unattached and the fan turned on and ran. With the compressor re attached it instantly tripped the breaker. With all of this information I was able to determine that the compressor is grounded. I set up a call with our comfort advisors to talk about options. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day!
